Business Direction
The body shop equipment market in Malaysia is a niche market in which we have built up an excellent reputation. The industry is currently undergoing sea changes as a result of many factors notably insurance claims quantum, AFTA and the entry of vehicle manufacturers directly into aftermarket activities including the setting up of 3S centres and new autobody technologies. Independent body shops who are our main customers are coming under pressure and will be forced to adapt and improve their quality and delivery to compete.

We will help spur growth and productivity in the market and assist our customers to improve their skills level and efficiency through equipment upgrades and utilization and training. At the same time, we are making good progress in penetrating the franchise body shops while retaining our customer base among the independent body shops.

Collision repair skills training and knowledge upgrade is critical if our industry is to be able to repair today’s technologically advanced cars safely. In this respect, through our associate company, STC Training Centre (M) Sdn Bhd, we are promoting training in new repair methodologies and skills transfer from overseas to the local market.
